As Autumn Falls

Life Goes on...
As Autumn Falls, the leaves take on a new life, but yet at the same time, are at the end of a beautiful life.
Here in the high country of Colorado, at about 9,000 feet, the mountain air is crisp and clean. Go ahead - take a deep breath and feel it cleanse your lungs. The orange leaves won't giggle. The Red ones, maybe, but the orange ones - they just want you to look at them. The yellow hold strong until that final breath of wind pulls them down to rest on shore... even maybe lucky enough to go for a late day sail on the cool waters of the lake below.
The reflections of the water give us twice as much to look at. What a day!
Look at them, cascading a autumn glow in the afternoon sun. Look at them give the trees a sense of wealth and beauty. This is a time of year they all look forward to, because it can only mean one thing... New life awaits...
As Autumn Falls.
"Shhh... Listen closely and you can hear the red leaves giggling..."

All this time I thought the red leaves were the serious ones of the bunch. : )
