Introduction for TerrieSchultz
My formal educational background is in the Life Sciences, and I hold degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology. I worked for many years in the medical biotechnology field, and then earned a teaching credential and taught science, math, reading and art at the middle school level. I now spend much of my time studying medicinal herbalism and aromatherapy, and learning about natural medicine. I enjoy writing articles about health and medicinal herbs, as well as various science topics, and have been writing online for several years.
My hobbies are creative writing and art. I have published several short stories and I am currently working on a fantasy novel for young adults. I love all kinds of artistic expression, especially drawing and painting, as well as fiber arts such as quilting.
I love to travel and experience different cultures. I traveled around the world for six months by myself when I was in my 20s. I went all over Europe, and also to India and New Zealand. More recently I have taken two trips to Italy, and take trips by car around the United States.
My favorite food is probably bacon, and I also love pizza. I don't especially care for sweets, but I like fruit, including strawberries, peaches and watermelon. I love black tea with milk, and drink several cups a day.

Welcome to Persona Paper, Terrie! I have a friend whose favourite food is bacon. She makes this amazing bacon pie. It's low-carb, but definitely not low-cal!
