Maximum Withdrawal Limit of SBI ATM
If you are having an SBI savings account, you also get an ATM cum Debit card linked with your account. You can use this card to make withdrawal and other banking stuffs through an ATM kiosk.
This is also a Debit card which can be used to make payment while shopping. Apart from that, you can also send money instantly with the help of this card.
However, there is a limit to which you can use this card. It is quite imperative on your part to know the maximum limit of your card.
Maximum Withdrawal Limit of SBI ATM Card Per Day
You can withdraw up to Rs. 40,000 from ATM using your card. However, please be aware that you can withdraw only Rs. 15,000 in a single transaction . Hence to withdraw the maximum possible amount of 40 K, you need to use at least three transactions. The minimum transaction you can do at an SBI ATM is Rs. 100 .
You can also use your card for shopping at more than 500000 merchant outlets. However, there is also a daily limit. And, the limit is Rs. 50,000 . There is no minimum limit here.
Apart from that, as I have mentioned above, you can instantly send money to your loved ones using your ATM card. For that, you need to use only SBI ATM machine. Further, you will also require having the SBI ATM card number of the person you want to send money to. Remember, you need card number, not account number . I have seen many people making mistakes here by inserting the account number.
You can send up to Rs. 30,000 by using your ATM card. In one transaction, the maximum limit is Rs. 15,000 .

I am sure there will be other banks to who follow this norm. I have not felt the need so far to exceed these limits.
