Work Work Work

Work is getting crazy busy, and everyone's feeling the pressure. I like the challenge but I have to remind myself not to let myself feel overwhelmed because what usually happens is that I'll keep telling myself, "I'm fine, I'm fine..." then one day I'll 'crash' and have a breakdown and panic and cry. It's not a pretty sight.

At least the owner hired someone to work in the call center, so the past few days have definitely been easier as far as making sure the queues are worked on. He's having me do recruiting calls this week, because by Friday we need to have 240 students registered in the tax school. ANXIETY-INDUCING. . but, at the end of the day, as long as I sincerely worked my hardest and did the best I could, I shouldn't worry so much.

Another day, another dollar!

There must be so many that are jobless envying you!

I don't think I could handle a job where I had to make so many phone calls. I got stuck with some phone work as an intern in college and at the only "real" job I've ever had. That's one of the many reasons I prefer to be self-employed now.

It is definitely stressful doing a job like that. How about stress relievers when you are finished work, or before going, like exercise, yoga, meditation, etc?

My job is starting to get busy as well with the Christmas season coming soon.
