SBI Branch Open on Sunday in Delhi

For the sake of convenience of its customers, State Bank of India (SBI) keeps some of its branches open even on Sunday. As you might know, there is no banking day on Sunday in India. What if you find some urgent works to be done on Sunday? In that case you can always visit a branch which remains open on Sunday. However, please remember the banking hours of these branches might be different from the standard.

There is one branch of SBI in Vijay Nagar near Kingsway Camp which remains open on Sunday. This branch remains close on Wednesday. The working hour starts from 8:30 AM and ends at 3:30 PM on Sunday . Please remember that if you don’t have an account in this branch, then you need to reach the branch before 11:30 AM. Unfortunately, not all branches can remain open on sunday. Though, people may urgently need banking on sunday. Imagine the day when there were no Internet banking or even ATM kiosk and bank used to close on sunday and weekends.

With automated money dispensers, I suppose fewer people now need to have a bank actually open on a Sunday. They have removed the bank from our town but there are two money dispensers available and the post office will accept deposits 7 days a week.
