Garden Fresh Green Beans

Nothing better than fresh green beans right from the garden! I love to just stand there and pick them right from the vine and eat my fill. Yum!

Here’s a recipe we tried last night. They turned out so very good. I’m ready for some more!

Garden Fresh Green Beans

1lb of Garden Fresh Green Beans – or store bought, which ever you can get

¼ - cup of chopped Onion

2 – Tablespoons of Coconut Oil

1 – Garlic Clove minced

¼ cup of Cashews

Fresh grated Parmesan Cheese

Salt and Pepper to taste

Cook onions and garlic in coconut oil for a few minutes until the onions are tender, add green beans, salt and pepper and cook for about 5 minutes adding cashews in the last minutes of cooking. Remove from heat and grate on the parmesan cheese.

I haven't had the opportunity to eat freshly picked green beans in some time, but do agree they are tasty. This simple to make recipe sounds like it brings out the best in the beans. Mmmm, mmmm!

Fresh, tender beans and that too picked from the garden should have made your day. I had some in my garden last year.

I do like garden green beans. Last season we had a good amount of them grow in the garden.

It does bring out the taste of the green beans. None of the ingredients over power the natural flavor.

These look delicious. I should make them tonight. But they will be my garden beans out of the freezer.
