WWE's Night of Champions

Any wrestling fans out here in Persona Paper?

Let me just say that WWE's Night of Champions (WWE NOC) is and I just can't wait to watch it. It is the one pay per view (ppv) where in all the titles are up for grabs. This year's NOC is no different as the World Heavyweight Championship, the Intercontinental and United States titles, as well as the tag team and Divas belts will all be on the line.

Here are the matches in tonight's WWE NOC and my predicted result:

* Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho

These two superstars have met countless of times already that I've lost count of how many wins each one has over the other. Nonetheless, a win here will be a big boost as we inch closer to WrestleMania but honestly, this is all about bragging rights for these two decorated ring warriors!

Both Orton and Jericho know each other and both will exchange finishing maneuvers and two counts but in the end, I predict a clear win for the Apex Predator Randy Orton .

*Mark Henry vs Rusev

As much as I like Mark Henry, I clearly think that a win here by Rusev is the only path for the super athlete from Mother Russia. The World's Strongest Man is taking on a challenge that Jack Swagger and Big E didn't fare so good in the past. both fell short against Rusev and I see Mark Henry suffering the same fate. I see some outside interference from a heel Big E (who's going to turn full time heel along with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) and help Rusev turn the tide against Mark Henry.

Rusev wins via disqualification and we see the emergence of a new heel faction featuring the trio of Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods.

* WWE Divas Champion - Paige (c) vs Nikki Bella vs AJ Lee

This is a mere filler of a match but what a filler match it is! I'm not a fan of the wrestling skills of these ladies but they sure make some great eye candy. Never mind the story line between 'frenemies' Paige and AJ Lee or the sibling rivalry between the Bella Twins Nikki and Brie. This is a eye candy match through and through.

I think that Brie Bella comes in the ring and screws twin sister Nikki as payback for what she did the last time out and we see Paige retain her Divas Championship belt.

I'm going to cut this post short and continue my thoughts in another post. So fellow PPers, any thoughts about WWE's Night of Champions? Feel free to share!

Paige is a good wrestler back in NXT and the indies but WWE dont allow her to use her full moveset and they tone her down. I dont know if you hear it before but Vince dont allow female wrestlers to wrestle good because he dont want them to outshine the men. He scolded Melina and Michelle Mcool before for having a good match.

Paige's matches with Emma back in NXt trended in social media and seen as better than male matches. Sadly main roster turned them into jokes.

I have no interest in the sport, but I like to see who are the ones getting rich from this sport.

Agree with you there. Paige is indeed a good wrestler but admittedly the Women's Division in the WWE is nothing more than eye candy. Nothing wrong with that really but I wish to see more wrestling from these female wrestlers.

Not sure who are the higher paid wrestlers but perhaps those in the main roster get the higher pay.

Among the wrestlers you have here, I only am familiar with Orton and Jericho. It has been years since I last watched an episode :(
