My late introduction

Hi so I'm not really into intros but everyone here seems to be doing it so what the hey.

I'm a memeber of this site for like a week? So far everyone seems very nice.

I'm in my early 20's. I work in the IT field. I currently work in a corporate company as an IT officer. Yes I'm writing this from my desk.

Well in my line of work I do this and that. Fixing this and that. Editing this and that. Though I admit I don't want to work in this field anymore. I've always wanted to go back school and get a new degree. I might do it but after I fill my bank with sufficient amount of $$$.

I love reading books, watching films and playing tons of video games. Writing is well...it's something I always want to try. I suck at it atm and there's tons of room for improvement. So forgive me if you see some error in grammar in my articles. Anyway a friend of mine said that if I want to be a decent writer, I should write a lot and read a lot. I got the reading part covered since I read every day before I go to sleep. I'm currently reading The Stand by Stephen King!

I'm quite happy to find this site. It's small but everyone actually reads what I write. I'm well aware there's mistakes but I'll try my best! I'm glad I found a site I can share my interests, views and opinion. I'll write whenever I have free time and as long as I can think a topic to write about. I'm thinking of writing something about computers or technologies. Some helpful tips and such. Though I'm no expert so judged on your own if you think my tips can help you.

emoticon

Anyway glad to found this site and I'm looking forward to contributing on whatever it is I can contribute.

The picture is a South Park-ed version of me. It sorta looks like me irl.

Welcome to the site! Glad to have you aboard - and your friend is right. Writing a lot, even about mundane topics can definitely help your ability to write and express your thoughts. Just make sure to proof read - something I have ALWAYS been bad at. It's amazing how you can write something down but you are thinking so fast that you think you put a word in and didn't or you re-word something and left a word in from the previous sentence. Maybe one of these days I will get around to it.

It's great to get to know a little more about you and understand your world. As to grammar errors, don't worry -- I'm sure you will find them in mine to. I have a tendency to write like I'm talking to my audience instead of writing in a formal manner so I think that you'd find a TON of errors in my writing.

My husband is in the computer field too, but he loves it.
I'm a reader too! I wouldn't worry too much about spelling errors and grammar. I don't see too many, so I think you are off to a good start.

As the site gets older, more members will join, but you are right, I like that everyone here currently reads.

Ahaha no. South Park has this one character always saying "Hippies!" so I kinda got attached to the term hehe.

I do the same thing regretfully... many grammar errors but I think everyone does... or you think one thing and type another which I seem to do more often than not.

Well better late than never so they say. I don't like to write intros either I never quite know what to say about myself. I do have to admit I like to read other peoples, nice to get to know a little about someone.

After seeing all of the intros, (and reading yours) I think I will write my own as well.
