Alright, Confess Up And Everyone Come Clean...

Alright, confess up and everyone come clean...

I was looking through my cd collection as I was deciding what to include in the playlist for my iPod. As I was looking at some of the earlier cds that I had, I was smiling to myself and asking myself 'Why oh why did I bought this cd?'.

LOL!

What cd/song/artist do you have in your ipod/cd collection that makes you scratch your head and say 'What the ...? Why did I ever get this cd/download this song in the first place?'.

Mine would be official soundtrack of The Simpsons 'Simpsons Sing The Blues'. Don't get me wrong and don;t hate on me The Simpson fans! I'm a fan myself hence I have the cd. LOL! I think I was in third year high school when I thought that I was a Bart Simpson and was constantly singing 'Do The Bartman'. LOL!!!

Looking forward to know what everyone else's audio guilty pleasures. Cheers!!!

I haven't purchased music in so many years, I can't recall any guilty pleasures among what I used to have.

Back in the 1980s I bought a Prince album called Purple Rain. I went through a phase of liking him for awhile. Now , I look back on that and laugh because he really isn't that good.

I find Prince so full of himself and really not good at all. I remember watching him play at the Superbowl a few years ago and while the crowd were cheering I thought "what a load of crap".

Speaking of soundtracks, I have a copy of South Park The Movie on CD. The songs were funny once upon a time, but now it's not something I could ever give airplay.

I have a song in my phone by blink182 that is so offensive I can't even write the song title. Most of the time I hit the skip button on my headphones when it comes up.

allen0187 I know I have a few songs that are off the wall in my collection. Like song called "The Fonz" and "Shaddap Your Face." They were funny to me back in the day. I still have them and I still think they're funny at times.

LeaPea2417 Wow, I have Purple Rain and I think that was one of Princes best albums. He is a great talent.

Sometimes I shake my head and wonder just WHY at one point in my life I owned every single album that Steve Miller ever released. I'm not talking about just "Fly Like an Eagle" (which I still consider a good album) or "Brave New World" (also a good album), but crap like "Rock Love" (from '71), the horrid "Circle of Love" (from '81,an album with a total of five songs on the entire album, one of which took up ALL of side two), and the album that made me stop buying Steve Miller records, "Abracadabra."

Loved that one! Never had the record, we couldn't afford them and didn't have a record player anyway but loved hearing it on the radio!

I have a couple of Adam Sandler comedy CDs. I know why I got them (I really love both versions of the "The Chanukkah Song"), but now that I've gotten the single track that I like from both CDs ripped onto my computer's hard drive (as well as backed up on an external hard drive), there's really no reason for me to still have either CD, since I thing both are pretty bad overall.
