A number of useful programs for Windows everyone should try

These are programs that I tried myself and so far I encountered no problem using them. No viruses or lagging. I'm not sure if you'll encounter any problems when you install them but these programs are small and takes little space on your hard drive. So try them if you're interested.

WinDirStat - This one allows you to see your Local Hardrive's usage.

UnLocker - Trouble disconnecting a flash drive from your PC? Try this program.

Notepad++ - Tired of the all to boring Windows Notepad? Makes opening .nfo files and other notepad files far too easier and more readable.

TeraCopy - Makes copying of files far more easier. Allows you to pause a file transfer (useful if you use windows 7) and a lot more features.

Foxit - An alternate pdf file viewer in case you encounter problems with the Adobe PDF reader. Much more stable imo.

ManyCam - Acts as a default camera for your computer. You can add a bunch of effects even a video to your own webcam feed.

Handbrake - Rips DVD and helps you to copy it to your apple devices.

HoverZoom - it's a Google Chrome Extension that lets you to hover your mouse on an image to load it.

7-zip - Works like Winrar but it has more compression power

Gimp - Tried photoshop but found it too complex? Try this one.

Team Viewer - Frequently used by IT Techs. It lets you control other people's computer. The other computer must have Team Viewer installed too and of course you need their permission to control it via exchange codes. Really interesting program to try.

Everything - This program is very handy when searching for a file in your computer. It can find wherever it is. Much more easier than the default windows explorer search.

Looks good - just a reminder that all articles need some sort of image credit that you are allowed to use the image. It's a pain I know but it protects all of us and prevents us from having a headache down the road. Thank you, and keep up the good work :)

I love Notepad++, 7-zip, and Teamviewer - I use them almost daily. I still use WinRAR and I've had many issues with Handbrake... but some good suggestions. Awesome post!
