Life just happens

For the last two weeks or so, I have been unable to interact on the site, too many things going on at the same time, including a couple of unforeseen circumstances that have completely changed my routine and forced me to incur in some extra expenses, making a considerable dent on this month’s budget.

The three devices I use the most, namely my car, my computer and my body(!) all had issues at the same time. Perhaps I am forcing these machines a little too far?

It took a few days to get everything back in working order. As of today only the computer is still having problems.

Due to this I had been unable to thank to SandraLynn for including me in her Weekly list of featured Persona paper members . Thank you so much Sandra for your words, and for your initiative of sharing the names and work of many great people here at Persona Paper.

Additionally, I have found the new FOPP (Friends of Persona Paper) challenge by suffolkjason which I think is another great way of help spreading the word and help this community grow. Still need to read more and understand all the rules to start fully participating on this challenge.

Just a quick note to say the "rules" are non-existent really- we're really just a small but growing group of PP'ers working together to help this site grow. There are some challenges but it's very informal.

suffolkjason OK, thanks for the clarification, I understand. Also thanks for leading the challenge and I hope to become an active participant pretty soon.

Take care of those machines, especially the body machine. Life gets us all and sometimes it just needs a reboot. :)

I try to be here as often as I can. At least once a day to read and interact. :)

tinamarie that is true, our body is very strong and resilient but needs to be taken care of as well. I might need to go in Hibernation mode emoticon :winking:

Thanks Tuffy06 that certainly helps the community grow and hopefully we will soon see some higher earnings!

You give a 10-horsepower car a 20-horsepower job, it burns up.
You give a 10-horsepower computer a 20-horsepower job, it burns up.
You give a 10-horsepower body a 20-horsepower job, it becomes a 20-horsepower body.

:)

True, but it takes weeks to recover emoticon :winking:

Okay. Go for the 12-horsepower jobs then. A pulled muscle can hurt something fierce.

There you go... slowly increasing the workload won't cause any major trauma.. you are a great coach Loudman

I am very hopeful with that. I'll give all the support that I can.
