I Write My Best Stuff Tomorrow

"Yesterday You Said Tomorrow". Nike Ad Slogan

I can't tell you the outrageous number of fabulous posts I've written in my head intending to get them done the next day.

In a perfect world, I'd max out all the posts I'm allowed to write on Bubblews and Persona Paper and have plenty all ready to post the next day.

But there are movies and television shows on Netflix that take priority.

Inspirational "how-to" videos on YouTube take precedence.

After all, shouldn't I be allowed to spend my time reading, watching and figuring out how to be a successful writer?

Isn't it time well spent?

I can always write tomorrow.

I convince myself that I need that 5 minutes of extra sleep.

And then again, it feels good, to just follow Nike's long standing mantra. So I've go-opted it for what I need to focus on today.

Just Do It.

Just Dance.

Just Write.

PHOTO: My Mom's on the right.

Yesterday, I blew off a day of writing to spend a day with my cousins, Mom and her twin sister who were celebrating their 78th birthday. Read more about that here .

P.S. I just proofed my post and mis-spelled "co-opt" as "go-opt" but I think I'm going to consciously leave that typo in as that's a kind of cool made up word.

:) I do all my best stuff tomorrow. "Just do it!" is great advice.

LOL, I kind of like "go-opt", too! Just do it!

I often find myself writing my next post just before I fall asleep. Unfortunately, it escapes my brain before I wake up.

I always say tomorrow or later, but sometimes they come as a NOW. I just do as I go along , whatever comes to mind. If none then I read and comment on others' posts

You forgot about gardening - a pass time I will never give up for anything in the world for which there is always a today, tomorrow and the day after (lol)

I like "go-opt" also - it sounds so action-oriented!

I find that if I have an idea for something I'd like to post and don't get around to doing it right away then I lose interest.

How could you miss the opportunity to spend the day with your Mom and her twin on their birthday? Besides, more great posts are waiting to be written from those "real life" experiences and breaks from the computer!

As I am reading this, I have the urge to close my eyes and go to sleep. But I have two more paragraphs to write for a Wizzley page. It might not getdone!

Although I've also been writing some, I seem to be more in the mood to read than write at this time -- likely, because I find reading relaxing, and I happen to be going through a lot of stress at the moment...

What a coincidence! Tomorrow is always when I write my best stuff, too! :)

I usually write my post as it comes even when I don't I just jot down some terms about what I want to write that will make me remember it whenever I decides to write it.

Nice to see you in Persona. Yes, we can do something better tomorrow as long as we have the hope. But, I feel today is the best time for writing.
