No More "Lucy"

It was a holiday yesterday here in our country. I planned to go to the mall and watch "Lucy." I have been dying to watch Scarlett Johansson's newest action-thriller film but I just watched the "Guardians of the Galaxy" first because I know that "Lucy" has just been released here therefore I am confident that it will still be in our cinemas until next week or this weekend.

When my friend and I arrived in one of those well-know malls, I was really shocked that "Lucy" was no longer showing anymore. I got online and checked other cinemas if maybe they are still showing it there.

According to my research, there are only four cinemas still has "Lucy" but the theaters in those particular malls do not have a decent cinema meaning the seats are not that comfortable, the screen is not that wide, the movie per se is not clear and crisp compared to cinema theaters my friend and I usually go. I guess I will just have to wait "Lucy" to be released in the DVD.

Have you guys seen it? Was it worth watching in the big screen or DVD will suffice?

I haven't seen it. But then, I don't keep up with new movies and I rarely watch them until they come on TV

I don't know anyone who has seen the movie, just a number of people who want to.

Really? Well, I guess it wasn't that as great as the trailer.

I saw it and really liked it; I even wrote a review of it: http://www.personapaper.com/article/10038-a-review-of-lucy-starring-scarlett-johansson-and-morgan-freeman

That's too bad that you missed it in the theater - I doubt it will look as good on a TV screen (unless you have a seriously large TV screen).
