Car Falls From the Third Floor Of Parking area Of a Mall

How sad. I don't think should especially I think over 70 yrs of age. This is after a white sedan driven by a 73 yr. old man had an accident. As you can see from the picture there is a big hole where it went thru. They said the man might have suffered a mild causing him to black out and loose control. He even had a . It was good that the 2 cars he fell on had no one inside and in one car the were able to get out.

It happened around 3pm so it was probably due to the heat. He was conscious when they got hime out of his car and was complaining of chest pains. They were able to bring him to the hospital around 5pm. It was good that he was still alert.

The latest news was that the man is in stable condition. He had already suffered a before, has a pacemaker because he had a operation. I think people even if not a senior citizen with heart problems should not drive or at least have someone with them. It is not safe because who knows when they will have a stroke.

He should now rethink about driving. Perhaps, it is better to get a driver for him. It ain't his fault but the accident could have been prevented imo.

The garage should also not have had a wall so thin that a car could drive through it. It's not only older drivers who can become ill or even have a foot slip. I agree, however, that people with heart problems probably should not be driving.

I am sorry but if you noticed at the end I did mention that people young or old should not drive alone if they have a heart problem and you don't know how it is to drive in the Philippines unlike there in the US or other countries where traffic rules are strictly followed. And i did not say all but some. No meaning to offend anyone and it's true anyone can have accidents

It is no one's fault I was just relaying news and my opinion. I wish people would look at it not as an insulting post but just an opinion of a person. Younger people commits mistakes but it is commonly the elderly because when we get older our reflexes and attentiveness diminish. Being a nurse i can see that. No matter how young we feel mother nature will take it's course. for me if i could i would rather have my mother or uncles or grandparents have a driver to lessen the stress on them.

Any driver of any age can collapse at the wheel, fortunately it is far rarer than incidences of people losing control of their vehicles through drink, drugs, excess speed, mechanical failure or just plain stupidity.
